A 24-year-old man, Yunusa Isa, has confessed to the crime of killing his employer and business partner, Lawan Adamu (28), in Nayi Nawa Ward in Damaturu, Yobe State.
According to the suspect, he borrowed N500,000 with a profit-sharing arrangement from Adamu last year.
The suspect claims that Adamu sought cash from him after he didn’t follow the conditions of the arrangement.
To avoid repaying the debt, Isa murdered Lawan Adamu in cold blood.

The police spokesman in the state, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, who confirmed the killing said that the suspect confessed at the CID that he killed his employer because he could not repay him a N500,000 loan.
