Omego was hit on the head and he passed out before he was rushed to hospital in an anxious moment for fans and team medical staff.
Having recovered from being unconscious, Omego is still waiting to undergo scan to his head as he has been told to take a break by team doctors.
“It was a bitter experience but I thank God, my coaches, our doctors and everybody that showed love and concern,” Omego said.
“They want me to do scan to know the condition of the head injury that I had in the match against Kano Pillars,” he said.
Meanwhile, goals from Taiwo Awoniyi, Chidera Eze and Bernard Bulbwa were all the Flying Eagles needed to silence the Nigeria Premier League outfit. They emerged champion of the NPFL Super Four tournament after defeating Dolphins 4-1 in their fourth game played on Friday afternoon at the National Stadium, Abuja.
