What can you remember before the suicide attack on Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi?
I was at my trading point selling sleepers and recharge cards when I heard a very loud blast that threw the umbrella covering the Sheikh. There was blood and pieces of human flesh thrown up. It was followed by a huge cloud of smoke. I ran for cover and later took the courage to come back and help as people were lying on the ground and some shouting for help.
I saw the Sheikh shaking off his gown of the pieces of human blood. His children and bodyguards were all covered in blood and the Sheikh raised his hand in prayer-like manner and rubbed his face, while his driver drove off at a high speed.
 
What can you remember before the suicide mission on Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi?
When Sheikh Bauchi came to Alkali Road by Waziri Drive junction, the bomb exploded. I am suspecting that the suicide bomber was a young man we saw. He folded his hands across his chest, like he was jittery, as if he had lost something or was looking for somebody. I suspect he was the suicide bomber. He was a teenager or thereabout. The bomb did not hit the car, but the impact of the explosion hit the cars around.
 
How loud was the sound?
I had never heard a loud noise like that in my life. I saw corpses and many people in blood. It was very sad, indeed.
