Major General Paul Tarfa said he wrote his autobiography, ‘A Profile in Courage: Let the Truth be Told’, because he wants the truth to be known about Nigeria.

Tarfa said this last week at the formal presentation of his revised autobiography in Abuja. He pointed out that “in our history so many things have gone wrong and people have refused to believe the truth. I believe if we want to live together, we have to understand ourselves, and only the truth can take us there.”

The author said today’s leaders should love the country first of all, be sincere, and live according to their oath. 

Tarfa was Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy, (NDA).
