Miss Ainau Marallia Sulaiman from Zaria town lives in Kaduna Metropolis. The graduate of Archaeology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in an interview with the Daily Trust Youthville said she has great passion for reading and writing and would want to effect change with that.
“I love breathing life into words,” she said. “My flare for writing started few years back, though I have always had a feeling about writing long time ago.”
Although she developed the interest, Ainau said study activities during her undergraduate days took so much time that she could not fully focus.
“I just appreciated literature but didn’t dabbled in,” she noted.
On her experience in the literary field and the project she is working on, Ainau said: “I’ve written several unpublished poems, and I have a novel that am currently working on with core interest on the fictional category.”
Unlike some geniuses that draw their inspirations from model, the rising author said hers come from odd things.
“I get inspiration from a lot of things: house chores for example, when am doing it, I try to block my mind from the world, and travel to a place of my own.
“I also get inspired by reading, and paying close attention to people to understand the socio-cultural way of people,” she said.
Revealing her focus and target, Ainau said, “My target for writing is to connect with my audience through my pen, talk about aspects that affect our society, and find possible resolutions.”
For the future, the young writer wants to be the published author of many impactful books as she said, “It has always been a dream of mine. In sha Allah I would fulfill it.”
