The Estu of Kwali, Alhaji Shaban Audu Nizazo III, has alleged that the recent attack on his convoy while on his way to observe Juma’at prayer was masterminded by those who never wanted him to be the chief of the area.

Speaking during an interview with our reporter at his palace yesterday, Nizazo, alleged that since he was given a second class status in 2015, some people who felt aggrieved had been instigating thugs to cause trouble in the area.

The traditional ruler expressed concern over delay by the government to give him approval to take over the late chief’s palace, saying allowing him to take over the palace will reduce the stress of walking a long distance from his palace to observe Juma’at prayers in the area.
