The acting chairman of FCT Secondary Education Board (SEB), Mr. Sunny Monidafe, has said he will work assiduously with the support of management and staff of the board to achieve his eight-point agenda.

Monidafe, who was addressing staff of the board in Abuja, yesterday,  said schools under the board would enjoy its set objectives.

He said education was a vital tool for the development of society, hence, he would take his responsibility of ensuring quality education for students in the FCT seriously.

He stressed the need for change of attitude among staff and members of the board, adding that staff must ensure they were dedicated to their duties. He said he would operate an open door policy in order for the board to achieve greater success.

Also speaking, the acting director of the FCT SEB, Mrs. Nanre Emeje, said the meeting was to remind all staff on the need for them to live up to expectations as civil servants observing the administrative procedure of the civil service in line with the present leadership direction of the board.

She urged the staff to imbibe discipline on their job while putting in their best and work in line with the laid down rules governing civil service work.
