Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has promised to appoint more women into his cabinet.
The governor disclosed this during a thanksgiving service organised by the state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. John Mamman in Kokona Local Government Area of the state.
His submission was in response to a Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Women Affairs, Elsty Monde, who requested the governor to include more women in his administration.
The governor appreciated women for their immense contributions towards building a veritable party, adding that APC is the only party to beat in the nation’s political landscape.
He appealed to APC stakeholders to exercise patience in handling party affairs, saying the party would hold a critical meeting in a few weeks to come.
