The Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, has said he will not relent in championing the cause of the people of the territory.

He also promised to continue to do all that would enhance peace and unity amongst all ethnic groups in the FCT, adding that the welfare of the indigenous people would also be given  priority.

Aduda stated this at a reception at his Karu residence  after his inauguration along other elected senators in  Abuja on Tuesday.

He said most issues, such as the ministerial slot of the FCT and the mayoral status among so many other bills that would have direct impact on his people would be given attention.

Senator Aduda also called on the newly inaugurated area council chairmen to emulate him by ensuring their people fully benefit from good governance.

He also advised residents to continue to be law abiding citizens and support government programmes for the betterment of all Nigerians.
