University of Ibadan Alumni Association has provided teaching facilities to public schools in Kabusa District, Abuja.
Chairman of the Abuja chapter of the association, Barrister Ismaila Alasan made the remarks during an end of the year dinner in Abuja. He said the association had ‘adopted’ some schools in Kabusa District where members mentor students to achieve their career and academic goals.
The association also provided teaching facilities to the schools. He said 25 undergraduate students were given scholarship by the association.
A member of the association Sen. Jonathan Zwingina said the annual event was meant to bring members together and ‘commemorate what we have done throughout the year’ and those that have done wonderful things for the association.
He said the  association had been active in supporting the development programmes of the university.
