An Iyaganku magistrates’ court in Ibadan, has ordered the remand of one Fatai Gbeminiyi (50) at the Abolongo Correctional Centre, Oyo Town, over murder.
The Magistrate, Emmanuel Idowu, who did not take the plea of the accused, ordered that he be kept at the correctional facility pending advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) and adjourned to October 27.

The prosecutor, Insp Iyabo Oladoyin, told the court that Gbeminiyi unlawfully caused the death of one Tinuke Olayiwola (39) on August 20.
She said Gbeminiyi clubbed Tinuke to death at the Abebi area of Ibadan using a pestle during a fight. (NAN)
