The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has urged polytechnics to acquire modern teaching facilities just as the Polytechnic Ibadan presented 23 courses for accreditation.
The Director, Polytechnic Pogramme at NBTE, Malam Musa Isgogo, who led 76 resource personnel of the board to the polytechnic in Ibadan for accreditation, said modern equipments are necessary for certification of courses in the polytechnics to meet up with global trend.
A statement signed by the spokesman of the school, Alhaji Adewole Soladoye, said the rector, Professor Olatunde Fawole, who received the team on behalf of the governing council and management, assured that the polytechnic had prepared adequately for accreditation in terms of equipment and personnel.
