Ibrahim, Manyika to discuss on age and desire

Authors Abubakar Adam Ibrahim and Sarah Ladipo Manyika will be discussing on age and desire, a theme explored by the former’s debut novel, ‘Season of Crimson Blossoms.’

 

The event will be holding on November 14 at Thought Pyramid in Abuja. 

 

Ibrahim is this year’s winner of Africa’s richest literary prize, the NLNG Nigerian Prize for Literature, for his first novel. He is also the author of ‘Whispering Trees’, a collection of short stories. Manyika was shortlisted for the Goldsmiths Prize, one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious prizes, for her novel titled ‘Like a Mule Bringing Ice Cream to the Sun.’ she is also the author of ‘In Independence.’
