At the launch of the ICT multi-solution explorer project, simply tagged: The SchoolMX project in Lagos, the chairman of the company, Ustaz Jamiu Ade Oyewole, said the project has been painstakingly put in place because of the various functions it performs.
“The developmental trend in intellectual revolution has necessitated the need to tailor the curriculum towards not just including the learning of ICT concepts but to have learning itself driven and interactively enhanced by ICT tools.
“Hence, the birth of the idea of a comprehensive all-in-one ICT solution that simplifies the various activities associated with learning and school management into a single synchronised and user-friendly solution by the Majadtek Nigeria Company team, tagged: The School Multi-solution explorer project (The SchoolMX Project),” Ustadh Oyewole said.
According to the chairman, the SchoolMX Project is meant for schools at elementary and pre-tertiary levels (Nursery, Basic and Senior Secondary) with a plan to upgrade for use at tertiary institutions in future.
“The goal of the project is to achieve a one complete solution which is enough tool to enhance all aspects of school management, administration and learning using information technology resources in the easiest possible way, yet at affordable cost,” the chairman said.
The SchoolMX Project comprises a number component solutions integrated into one. And some of these include: e-learning, e-payment, e-admin, e-library and a host of other solutions for school, staff and students to enhance learning using ICT.
“Our solution covers numerous modules such as admission, calendar, enrollment, account, billing, grading, payroll, computer based learning management system, web publishing, messaging, among others.
The solution also caters for physically challenged individuals. It has specially been designed to assist this category of users to enjoy learning,” Ustaz Oyewole said.
