The Chief  Commissioner Public Complaints Commission and the Nigerian Ombudsman Barr. Chille Wanger Igbawua has been elected Regional Coordinator of West Africa for the African Ombudsman Association.

Igbawua was elected at the   African Ombudsman Association Conference held in Kigali, Rwandan capital.

The African Ombudsman Coordinator is a Vice Presidential position in the association and with his election, the Nigerian Ombudsman thus assumes the exalted position as the West African Ombudsman.

This is the first time in recent years when the Nigerian Ombudsman is participating in this conference and the Nigerian Ombudsman is thus positioning itself to take its pride of place in the African Ombudsman institution.
