The community made their request known to the government during the visit of the Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperative Services, Engineer Clement Faboyede, to the area.

According to them, a community hall is their priority for their statutory monthly meetings and socio-economic activities while other pressing needs include solar powered boreholes to serve the whole community, a modern block of classrooms at Awodua Grammar School, rehabilitation of Ipe-Ikun road, Isinodo-Ifira road, Igbede-okuan road, provision of drugs in the General Hospital and other basic health centres as well as controlling devastating gully-erosion prone areas in the community.

While addressing the people of the community, Clement Faboyede ,said the traditional ruler of the community, Oba Francis Omokanjuola Apata and the people of the community warmly welcomed the commissioner and his entourage to their midst.

He however thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, for granting the people the great opportunity to express their needs.
