Igbinedion University asks students to shun academic fraud

Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, at the weekend matriculated 577 students for the 2018/2019 academic session calling on them to shun examination misconduct and other social ills.

Addressing the students during the institution’s 20th matriculation ceremony, the vice chancellor, Prof Lawrence Ezemonye, urged them to obey rules and regulations and shun social ills.

According to her, all the courses offered by the institution were accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and other professional bodies.

Prof. Ezemonye disclosed that the institution has concluded plans to commence new courses such as criminology and hospital management among others to give a range of opportunities to prospective students.
