We all need a united Nigeria, including the Igbo. I say this because we have Igbo people in all parts of the country. Also Igbo dominate the building materials, electronic/electrical appliances, spare parts and pharmaceutical equipment businesses.  Major markets across the country are also populated by the Igbo. Therefore, I urge them to reconsider their demand to be cut out of Nigeria. We all need one another; no ethnic group is superior to the other. The agitation for Biafra recently took a new dimension and I think it is time for the Igbo to go back to the drawing board and reconsider their demand.

Many of them have said that they are agitating because of marginalisation. If indeed that is the case, I am sure that it can  be addressed. All they need to do is make a formal complaint through the right channel.  I am from Osun State and I don’t know what markets in my state would look like if all the Igbo there pack their bags and leave. So, let us look for a way of living together.  It is only when we are united that we can develop this country.
