After painstakingly examining the current socio – political situation in the country at our congress that ended recently in Asaba on Monday hereby endorse former Governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido for the 2019 Presidential ticket.

Our decision to considered Lamido fit for the Presidency of Nigeria was borne out of Lamido’s patriotism and his past antecedents.

After a thorough screening of all aspirants eyeing the position come 2019,  Lamido ranks highest among all the potential presidential prospects, judging by his giant strides in all spheres of human endeavours as former governor of Jigawa state, former foreign Affairs Minister, his detribalized disposition, national appeal, innovative ideas and open mindedness. 

We have come to the conclusion that Nigeria currently needs a detribalized President like Lamido for real national integration and total abolishment of discrimination on ground of ethnicity, religion, class.

Encouraging Lamido to contest for President in 2019 will tremendously help in nurturing our democracy and broaden the political space.

We will like to use this medium to assure Nigerians of Lamido’s readiness to serve our dear country with passion and dexterity, carrying all Nigerians along for national progress.

This is the time for a leadership that understands the dynamism of Nigerian, this is the time for objective, humble and honest leadership that will eliminate nepotism. 

The Federation urge members to partake in the ongoing voters registration exercise so that they can vote for the leaders of their choice.

 We also urge the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to adopt him as its flagbearer and we also pledge to support his campaign bid.
