The insinuation by Senator Abba Aji that the Nigerian media are biased and should not be allowed to have anything to do with such a bill, shows how ignorant the senator is about the information bill. This kind of people at the helm of affairs in this country, Nigeria will continue to lay behind in the scheme of things, for a whole special adviser to come and make such a statement, when representatives of people have okayed the bill, leaves much to be desired.

We hope next time we would hear Senator Abba Aji would come out and insult the intelligence of Nigerians that he was misquoted out of context, because most people at the helm of power will make grave statements only to deny such a statement later.

When Senator Abba Aji  was accused during the late President Umar Yar’adua frequent travels outside the country for medical check up, a letter written to the national assembly intimating them about the sickness only for Senator Abba Aji  to deny publicly that no such letter was given to him, we thought at that time the likes of Senator Abba Aji  will never come near the presidential villa for anything again.
