A leading basketball promoter, Igoche Mark, has concluded arrangements to host the victorious Lagos Legends Basketball Club to a grand reception this evening in Abuja.

Lagos Legends Basketball Club emerged victorious in the Nigeria Basketball Premier League, defeating Rivers Hoopers 74-72 in a thrilling Final 4 decided in Port Harcourt on November 24, 2025.

This remarkable win secures Lagos Legends a spot in next year’s Basketball Africa League (BAL), marking a significant achievement for the team.

Igoche Mark, the initiator and sponsor of the annual Mark D’ Ball Basketball Championship, has extended an invitation to all basketball stakeholders and enthusiasts to join him in honoring the 2025 champions of Nigerian basketball in Abuja.

According to him, the reception which promises to be a grand celebration of Lagos Legends’ triumph is also a testament to their dedication and excellence in the sport.

“Hosting the Legends is my modest way to appreciate their outstanding performance in the Nigerian Basketball League.

“I believe in recognizing excellence. It takes so much to be a champion when competing against formidable opponents.
