I call on the Inspector General of Police, Kogi State commissioner of police and governor of the state to come to our aid over the activities of Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) operatives deployed to the state to maintain peace. They are using the opportunity to harass motorists and okada riders in the state, especially along the Lokoja-Ajaokuta-Anyigba road. They are also along the Anyigba-Ankpa road and Anyigba-Odu-Obaloto road.
I urge the authorities to call on these operatives to carry out their duties within the law, as what many of them are doing now is very far from that.
