The third edition of the StoryStory Masterclass series organised by the talented filmmaker and storyteller, Chris Ihidero will begin on April 16.

According to Ihidero, the 3-day workshop is open to creative practitioners who are yearning to tell stories and others who tell stories through social campaigns, screen writing, audio-visual content producers, content directors, drama series producers, digital marketing consultants and feature editors.

Billed to hold in Lagos from April 16 – 18, 2018, the workshop focuses on the art of storytelling and is expected to be taught by a faculty of seasoned professionals versed in the field.

“The workshop is delivered to empower and share knowledge to a class of thirty-five (35) participants, following a rigorous selection process,” he added.

It will be recalled that Ihidero, who has 21 years professional experience story-telling, started out as a theatre actor and director. Also, he has worked as a theatre artist, broadcaster, newspaper columnist, magazine editor and university lecturer.

In 2015, he co-produced the youth-focused drama series MTV Shuga Series 4, a role he resumed in its Season 6 in 2017.

Similarly, Ihidero has directed over 100 hours of TV drama, including Fuji House of Commotion, Tempest and Now we are Married. He has also made two short films, including Big Daddy (2012), a film about rape.
