Others billed for the prestigious IJSC, Ibadan Branch Merit Awards include legal practitioner, Chief Bandele Aiku (SAN), Dr Olakanmi Alo, an educationist and Proprietor of Interlink Polytechnic, Ijebu-Jesa as well as Lagos-based Architect Ayo Onajide. A statement signed by the Chairman, IJSC, Ibadan Branch, Professor Tolu Yoloye explained that the awardees were being honoured for their outstanding contributions to the socio-economic development of their community, Ijebu-Jesa and Nigeria, as a whole.

According to the statement, the conferment ceremony comes up on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Banquet Hall of Premier Hotel, Mokola, Ibadan under the Chairmanship of the renowned legal icon, Chief Afe Babalola (SAN).
