Mr Wasiu Adesina, the Chairman of Ikorodu LGA of Lagos State has directed the council’s Environment Department to set aside two days for cholera sensitisation to curtail spread.

He gave the directive during the weekly management meeting with heads of departments on Wednesday.

He said the department should set aside Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week for sensitisation at markets, abattoir and every nook and cranny of Ikorodu Central to enlighten the people about cholera and its prevention.

Adesina also urged residents to ensure that their source of water is safe and the environment is clean. (NAN)
