The gubernatorial flag bearer of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano, Abba Kabir Yusuf has said that loyalty and continuity in the fight against graft would be one of his major cardinal thrusts if voted to power as the executive governor of Kano State.
He said this while addressing thousands of party supporters who converged on Sani Abacha Youth Centre in Kano for the affirmation of his candidacy.

He promised to straighten the civil service through training, promotion, recruitment and timely payment of pension and salaries.
In a press statement made available to journalists, his spokesman, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa said the NNPP gubernatorial flag bearer was determined to reposition the state to its rightful place through people-oriented and inclusive governance.
Similarly, the Oyo State candidate of the NNPP, Engr. Popoola Olukayode Joshua has assured the residents that he would give priority to security, education, health, economy and other aspects of governance in the state if elected governor.
The NNPP governorship candidate said NNPP has a strong political structure across 351 wards of Oyo State, saying the party will win big during next year’s polls.
Speaking in Ibadan on Tuesday, Popoola, who was a former PDP financer before his defection applauded his supporters and associates for keeping faith with him despite the little setback experienced in PDP.
