The mother of the Assistant Chief Surveyor General of the Federation, Mr Alamu Samsideen Abayomi, who was shot dead by kidnappers despite them collecting N2,350,000 from his family, Alhaja Afusa Alamu, has said that she is yet to recover the corpse of her son.
City & Crime had reported that the late Abayomi, alongside his son and mother, were abducted while returning to Abuja from Osun State in Abaji Area Council of the FCT on the Abuja-Lokoja highway.

The deceased’s mother, while speaking with our reporter through telephone on Wednesday, expressed sadness for being unable to recover her son’s corpse weeks after the incident.
She said the abductors had told the family where to collect the corpse, but that the corpse was not found at the place.
She further said, “In fact, the family had after reaching out to the police decided to engage the services of vigilantes to storm the forest, but up till this moment my son’s corpse is yet to be found.”
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, did not reply an SMS on the development.
