The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Abdulkadir Babafemi Hamzat, have been charged to implement policies that touch the lives of the masses.
They were also asked to rid the state of area boys terrorizing many parts of the state.
Imam Abdulgafar Adekunle of the Lagos Secretariat Central Mosque (LSSM) gave the charge while delivering a sermon during the special Juma’at service to commemorate the inauguration of the new government in Lagos.
The deputy governor was in the mosque with other senior government officials to observe the prayers and was later joined by the governor. While delivering the Juma’at sermon, the imam urged the government to look into the activities of area boys in the nooks and crannies of the state.
