However, Iwunze told Daily Trust in Owerri, yesterday, that his office has received a mail indicating that the tractors were on the way to the state, adding that “for the past one month, we have been expecting the tractors in the state.”
He stated that the tractors would be hired to those who pay 20 percent of the amount that would be required for the hiring.
The director acknowledged the receipt of Yolo and California wonder high yielding variety of pepper for farmers in Imo State.
Iwunze said that the pepper would be distributed to those states that have advantage in the production of pepper including Imo.
