The complainant, the House of Assembly made appearance through the Deputy Speaker, Kwamoti Laori while the respondents, Nyako and Ngillari did not appear or send representatives.
The embattled officials were invited to appear before the 7-man panel through notices that were pasted on the gates of their offices. During the sitting, counsels to the House of Assembly, Duro Ajeleye (SAN) and Barr Leonard Zidon led Theman Wafarninyi, the chairman House Committee on Public Accounts in evidence against Nyako and Ngillari.
The counsels tendered 22 and six exhibits against Nyako and Ngillari respectively while the panel adjourned to Saturday (today) to enable the Governor and his Deputy or their representatives appear before it. 
Meanwhile, a press release signed by the Chairman Council of pastors Adamawa state, Rev. Dr. Victor Ordinan, the group called for peaceful resolution of the impeachment saga, saying the ongoing impeachment process may take the state back ward.
In a related development, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders have threatened to punish any lawmaker in the state assembly who decides to withdraw his support for the impeachment process.
