The Nigerian woman plays a vital role in planting, harvesting, preservation, processing and post harvesting technology management.

They also take part in the marketing of all forms of agricultural products, but in some places they cannot own lands for farming and this is impeding their productivity.  There is an urgent need to assist women in agricultural practices through provision of land. Those in positions of authourity should look into the matter with a view to tackling it.
