This administration is gradually beco-ming a tool in the hands of those who promote impunity and who do not wish the nation well and this evil force is gradually permeating into every facet of our national life, a situation where people live above the law and where anything can happen without the perpetrators being challenged.
What happened to the Yayale Ahmed Committee on harmony in the health sector? It has gone down the drain because a cabal within the sector is simply not disposed to its functions/reports. The government on its own seem to lack the gut to implement or enforce the committee’s work or report as it is afraid of this cabal! What is now playing out with the recent strike in the health sector is a situation where the cabal has hoodwinked the government and taken over jobs performed by other health professionals due to greed and overzealousness thereby introducing quackery into the system! What is playing out now is that no other professional matter in the health sector except the doctors! This cabal disregards constitutional provisions, international best practises and normal norms as far as its interest is concerned. For how long this will continue?
