Nigerian judicial family have never had it as good as this time, it is a time where integrity speaks in all honesty, it is a time where action swiftly taken to save the image of the mighty family, and of course it is a time where one of the most accomplished legal luminaries assumed the leadership of judicial clan.

If only such actions will be taken as at when due, Nigeria would have save its dignity in the eyes of international community and at the same time installed confidence in the minds of loyal citizens irrespective of what egocentric onlookers would selfishly conclude.

The sacked CJN have failed the National judicial council and the entire community of legal experts by refusing to step aside and face his legal battle willingly. In a sense society, a person facing such allegation will honorably resign and paves way for proper investigation.

The action taken by Mr. President is commendable and timely, if only such actions was taken in the previous corrupt related allegations, the gross misconducts and financial anomalies allegedly found some government officials would not have even arrived.

The newly appointed CJN, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad is a seasoned legal luminary, a consummate lawyer and an astute lover of the doctrine of justice and fairness. He is a well-trained judge who is well familiar with Nigerian legal system and mastered the proceedings of both panel and criminal code and by extension means justice will now take its natural course for having someone that knows both conventional and Shari’a system of law.

Tanko is an epitome of humility and a complete gentleman, he is an average human who never attached any interest with luxury life, a lover of peace and possibly one of the few senior judges who may stay long in office due to bundle of years ahead of retirement.

It is therefore worthy here to congratulate Nigeria for landing into the shores of fairness, equity and justice. Once again congratulations Nigerians.
