The Muslim Center- an architectural master piece is not just a religious center, as the well- equipped
conference hall serves other developmental purposes. Same for the Christian centers. They are opened throughout the week for residents who find them amenable to their growth. In entertainment, the city is also playing host to top Nigerian stars. Recently, MI ( a hip-hop artiste from Taraba) was home to
perform. He came with his brother- Jesse Jags. The stadium is fast turning out to be the ultimate depot for night crawlers.There is also the garden bar at the Jalingo motel, even as Eloheem Suites,
Yukuben and other hotels are making life sweet for visitors and residents alike.
But it is the road networks that are making the greatest sense to residents. The whole town is suddenly linking up and the relief this has brought is amazing as people now find the town accessible.
Speaking of improvement, one of the major strides of the government was to open up the city at the other end. Jalingo used to be a one road city. You come in through the gate and get out of town using the same route. But Suntai opened up the city and now, there is an outlet that cuts through the southern end of the town and links up the road leading to Yola. Then there are the new bridges. The
Nyamusala- Lamorde Road now has a bridge, making movement from the inner city to the college of education a pleasure. The bye-pass is a major game changer for many road users who now have an alternative. Still on bridges, there is the Nyabanka Bridge at mile six. Like the other one, these bridges are not just connecting roads, but they are linking up people and bettering their lives.
More new roads are also springing up like the one on Donga Street and Ganye
Street. There is the zing road by the Federal Medical Center . Each one of the road is making life more enjoyable with residents wondering what more package is in store for them.
