Reflecting on Muhammad’s’s life I thought about all those people who live their lives waiting for a tomorrow that never comes. They hesitate in doing good deeds until they finish university, or get married, or get older. And before that tomorrow comes, they die. The pious predecessors would say that one should never hesitate in actions of the Hereafter, (i.e. good deeds). Muhammad was one of those people, without sanctifying anyone before Allah, who did not hesitate before performing any good deed. He would never refuse any opportunity to help others. He showed courage when others showed cowardice, he was active when others were lazy; his heart was alive when other’s hearts were dead. His absence will surely be felt by all those who knew him. May his life be an inspiration to us all to be better people.
May Allah accept Muhammad’s good deeds. May He forgive his sins and grant him entry into Paradise without account. May Allah enable us to take example from his life. Aameen.
