According to the company, the promo, which lasted one month was designed to reward its loyal consumers.
Consumers who purchased the smartphone during the duration of the promo were given raffle slips where they wrote their dream wishes.
Over 10,000 consumers participated in the promo. The consumers with the best 20 wishes were shortlisted for the grand finale.
At the end of the draw, Mr. Peter Awotimayin won the grand prize of N500,000. His wish was to travel to Manchester, United Kingdom, to watch his favourite team, Manchester United, play live at the Old Trafford stadium.
Five others also won consolation cash prize of N100, 000 each. They are Nick Okpara, John Gbrika, Femi Enitan, Nkechi Nwosu and Abimbola Olubunmi.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Adebayo Shobanjo, Network Operations Manager, Infinix Mobility, said the company was pleased to make the wishes of the consumers a reality after making the company’s wish of being a major force in the country’s mobile phone market.
