Infrastructure: Group rallies support for FCT minister

Minister of the FCT Malam Muhammad Musa Bello

Coalition of Nigeria Concern Citizens, a pro-democracy group, has dismissed alleged perceived stagnation of development in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), under the leadership of Malam Muhammad Bello.

Leader of the group, Alhaji Hassan Sardauna, at a news conference, on Thursday in Abuja, commended Bello, for what he called ongoing infrastructural development in the territory.

Sardauna said currently there are about four to five massive interchanges and bridges that are currently under construction and towards completion.

According to him, one of the ongoing projects is a bridge that connect Wuse District and Wuye District along Olusegun Obasanjo Way.

He explained that the bridge at Power House Junction which was connecting one section of Asokoro to the other section of Asokoro, would relief traffic gridlock along AYA axis to central area.

He said work was on-going on the first set of 15 kilometers, from the Apo Intersection, adding that upon full completion, would lead to Gwagwalada.

Sardauna said that the FCT Administration had not left out the satellite towns in its development drive.
