‘Chicago’ told MTNFootball.com that he has fully recovered and will play against 3SC this weekend.

“I am back to full fitness now and will play this weekend against 3SC,” said the tested central defender.

The match will be played in the southern coastal town of Calabar after the Owerri club were banished there due to crowd trouble after their derby in Enugu against Enyimba on Sunday.

They will also pay a hefty fine of 1.6 million Naira fine for the incident.

The club media officer Cajetan Nkwopara said playing in Calabar won’t be a stumbling block for them to do well as they have played a lot of home games outside Owerri.

“Playing in Calabar won’t cause any problem because we have played many home games outside Owerri this season already,” argued Nkwopara,

“All we want to do is to build on the draw we had in Port Harcourt against Dolphin. We are going to beat 3SC no doubt about that because our boys are ready.”
