Following a serious injury, Danish club, Copenhagen have confirmed that Nigeria international, Akinkunmi Amoo has been ruled out of action for another nine to 10 months.

The youngster picked up the serious injury during Copenhagen’s training match ahead of their weekend fixtures against Silkeborg.

The player underwent further test on Tuesday with the result showing that the 21-year-old won’t be able to take on to the pitch for another 9 to 10 months as stated by the club.

“Akinkunmi Amoo, unfortunately, suffered a serious knee injury in Saturday’s training match against Silkeborg, and after scans and examinations, he has unfortunately been ruled out for the rest of the season.
