The kidnapped victims of Kaduna train attack are Nigerians; they’re not animals. They’re humans like president, vice-president, Senate president, Speaker, House of Reps, and Chairman, governor’s forum.
The same victims spent their time, resources and energy to vote the above persons whose power is meant to represent them and protect their lives and properties. It is so unfortunate that they failed woefully in discharging their responsibilities in a country where insecurity is called business due to political jingoism. Yet, their children are protected and secured.
Apparently it’s pathetic, disheartening and heartlessly inhuman for government to do nothing in securing the citizens whose kidnap happened due to its carelessness. Seriously, we’re losing hope and feeling that it is a waste of time to support anyone again in leadership contests. It seems that our government favours terrorists more than patriotic Nigerians. They’re being pardoned, rehabilitated and empowered to come and live with us while we remain the victims of circumstance.
Still, they attack, kidnap, rape and kill us daily. So far, we no longer have strong voice anymore; we’re in mess and depressed as people who regularly give mandate to incompetent politicians and corrupt actors in governance. We’re very disappointed by our representatives in both the red and green chambers of the National Assembly.
Enough is enough!
