The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Chief Gani Adams, has advised Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to adopt the model of the South West Security Network, Operation Amotekun, to reduce cases of insecurity bedeviling the state.

He gave the advice at the weekend in Kabba in his address to mark the 8th edition of Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) tagged “Kabba 2022”.

Adams, who said such a security outfit could be given any name, lauded the efforts of Governor Bello towards boosting the economic fortunes of the state.

In her remarks, Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, the Secretary to the State Government who represented the governor, appreciated Adams for using the OPU platform to create a new bond between Kogi State and the people of the diaspora.
