The convener and wife of the state governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola, urged Nigerians to promote love and virtue as a strategy to stop insecurity, sustain national unity and give room for peace.
She explained that the prayer session was organised to seek God’s intervention over insecurity and other challenges facing the country.
According to her, “The challenge of insecurity has continued to assume various dimensions. They are dimensions which affect every aspect of our daily living.
“This development has raised concern for every Nigerian. This is the reason why I have resolved to have this prayer. We all need to approach the Almighty God to urgently change the direction of events in our nation and make us healthy again.”
