The Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora and Deputy Chairman of Niger State Council of Emirs, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Mu’azu II, has urged Emir of Karaye in Kano to pray fervently to Almighty Allah to end insecurity in his Kontagora emirate and the nation.
The monarch made the request when he visited the Karaye emir at his palace in Kano.
He said his visit was to seek advice and prayers from the emir on acute insecurity in some parts of Niger state.
“Our visit to this great palace is to seek your royal blessings, advice and prayer to the present predicaments in Kontagora emirate. As you may be aware Kontagora Emirate and Niger state in general is currently experiencing banditry and other related insecurity, which only prayer could arrest the situation,” the Monarch said.
