Institute of Information Management to honour Obasanjo, governos

The honour will be part of activities to commemorate its maiden induction/investiture ceremony slated for March 15, 2014 in Lagos, a statement from the institute has said.
The Institute of Information Management (IIM) is a professional membership driven institute, developed to serve the growing community of data, information, records, document and archives management professionals who are tasked with managing the dynamic information life cycle within the enterprise.
Other dignitaries expected at the event and to be honoured include governors Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos, Senator Ibikunle Amosu of Ogun,  Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Comrade Adams Oshiomole of Edo,  Chief Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom and Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso of Kano.
Speaking on the event, President of the institute, Dr. Oyedokun Ayodeji Oyewole said “This is an all important event and the very first one for that matter in the whole of Africa in the Information Management space, as we expect to have a very elaborate event following the collection of professionals across various sectors of the economy we shall be inducting and also honoring those who have excelled in different sphere of the economy with influence on Information management.”
