Interstate border closure: Poor health services

The interstate border closure in Nigeria is affecting the economy of the people due to the embargo imposed on free movement of people.

Besides, the shutdown of the borders would be grave on the people living in remote and rural areas, especially that there are inadequate centres to accommodate the people suspected with COVID-19.

Our hospitals are unable to cure people with chronic kidney failure, so how can they tackle the pandemic of COVID -19.

Also, lack of public enlightenment about the pandemic is one of the major problems.

Therefore, government should make proper arrangement by providing free healthcare services to cmplement the closing of the borders.
