Rossy Foundation Germany and the Heart of Gold Charity Foundation Austria have collaborated to improve the quality of education and ensure standard among secondary school students in the country.
Ofoma Chichetam, who spoke on behalf of the foundations in Abuja yesterday, said the collaboration became necessary in order to ensure standard in secondary school education.

He said that the partnership was borne out of special love and desire for quality education and to promote and sustain overall academic performance among students in the country.
He said the foundations had earlier organised a quiz competition among secondary school students in Imo state through the Imo State Senior Secondary Education Management Board and Ministry of Education.
He stated that a prize of N250, 000 was usually up for grabs for the overall best students while first and second runner ups get N200,000 and N150,000 respectively as support for academic performance and to urge them to put more effort in education.
