A group, Zango Urban Development Association (ZUDA), has called on the authorities concerned to fish out the sponsors of attempted attacks on Hausa communities in Southern Kaduna with a view to bringing them to justice.
The association, in a statement issued by its president, Malam Shehu Aminu, said the call followed an attempted attack on the Zango community on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
According to the statement: “Recall that in our previous press statement dated 14th February, 2022, we categorically stated that any press statement released by the Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA) is a strong signal to their impending attacks to be launched on our community, Zango Urban.
“Barely less than two weeks after the statement released by their president, the Kataf militia in their hundreds, attempted to attack our peace- loving community on Saturday, 19th February, 2022, at about 11pm once again.
“It is now clear that our prediction has come to pass and whatever we said is true.”
