Amidst the current economic downturn experienced in the country, the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) said it is time to harness the potentials of the dairy industry which has the capacity of improving the fortunes of the economy.
The Chamber made the call during 2024 world milk celebration in Abuja with the theme “The vital role dairy plays in delivering quality nutrition to nourishing our world”.

ACCI President, Chief Emeka Ogbegolu said “the diary industry holds immense potential in Nigeria, not only for elevating nutritional standards but also for driving economic prosperity”.
Ogbegolu said, “I urge the government to implement supportive measures aimed at enhancing access to quality feed, veterinary services, and modern farming technologies which will improve the sector and boost the economy at large,” he said.
