The Institute of Directors (IoD) has given the corporate governance award to Lafarge Africa Plc.

The President and Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. (Mrs.) Ije Jidenma, F.IoD, said the award was given to recognise performance and reward corporate excellence among companies operating in Nigeria, with the ultimate goal of achieving a truly enterprise-wide culture of governance and ethics in organisations.

The CCEO, Lafarge Africa Plc, Khaled El Dokani, in a statement expressed appreciation for the prestigious Corporate Governance Award from the Institute of Directors, Nigeria.
