Iraqi cleric cautions Muslims against seditions

The President of Iraq’s Sunni Endowment cautioned the Muslim Ummah (community) against the “blind sedition” and terrorist mercenaries that have targeted the region’s stability and security.

In an address to the second edition of the international conference of resistance scholars, which kicked off in Beirut, Lebanon on Wednesday, Sheikh Abdul Latif al-Hamim said a blind sedition and mercenary terrorism have targeted the region.

He underlined that liberation of the Muslim Ummah is only possible through awakening and elevation of understanding.

Sheikh Hamim urged the Muslim Ummah to formulate their policies based on realities.

Elsewhere, he praised Iraqi forces’ recent victories over terrorism in the Arab country.

More than 200 scholars from over 80 countries attended the two-day event in Beirut.

“True Promise: Palestine between Balfour Declaration and Divine Promise” is the theme of the conference.

The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government during World War I announcing support for the establishment of the Israeli regime. (Tasnim News Agency)
